Basilica di San Marco is Venzia – The most famous of all churches, cathedral, Venice offers the famous Byzantine architecture. Located at St. Mark 's Square, this beautiful church which is connected with the Ducal Palace, has been the seat of the Archbishop since 1807. Greek horses adorn the FAA § ADE of the basilica but little do people who merely view the church from the outside but know they are not fake bronze replicas of the real Greek horses of San Marco, which are preserved in the museum in the cathedral itself. The interior ceilings are covered with gold, bronze and various kinds of gems and jewelry, which is probably where it gets its other name affectionate Chiesa d'Oro (Church Gold).

The Basilica Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari – Also known as the Frari church is one of the biggest churches in Venice, and even has been given category minor basilica. Standing in the heart of the San Polo district of the Campo, the church was completely built in 1396 with the theme of an Italian Gothic style.

Santa Maria della Salute – One of the most photographed churches incredibly beautiful Italy, along with the famous San Marco, this minor basilica is visible when one enters Square San Marcos from the water. Also known as the Pledge short, their strategic position placed in a narrow strip of land between the Grand Canal and the Bacino di San Marco turn in a church much visited by tourists in Venice.

Santa Maria dei Miracoli, Venice – Located in the Cannaregio district, this church was in 1480, is an excellent example of early Renaissance Venetian. Otherwise known as the "marble church", its FAA § ade is of colored marble, pilasters and a pediment semicircular.

Santi Giovanni e Paolo, Venice – Also known as Saints John and Paul in the Venetian dialect, this is one of the biggest churches in Venice and a few has the status of minor basilica. It is the main Dominican church of Venice, which was used for meetings and preaching to large groups and congregations.

San Zaccaria, Venice – St.Zacharias is a church in Venice dedicated to the father of John the Baptist, whose body was allegedly found here. Located in Campo San Zaccaria, which is south or east of San Marcos Basilica and is connected to a Benedictine monastery. A mixture of Gothic and Renaissance, the church was built between 1444 and 1515, but the first church in the place was built around the 9th century.
