If you happen to have brought their children, even for a honeymoon in this exotic and romantic relaxed part of the world, possibly children would find it less to their liking. Anyway if there are children of the small double bed Ballygunge could use, or the living room lodge a car for the whole family.
Some of the highlights are two Vivenda Palhaços fixtures and fittings that are consistent with the history of the place.
I love food, and surroundings. You eat either round a big table located in the dining room or the garden, and the fact that it is real family style, with great hosts means great conversations and friendships made. It would be fair to say that if your idea of a romantic exotic honeymoon is being on your own, then maybe this would not be for you. Mind you There are at least three very good restaurants in the main street of the village only a few minutes.
Breakfasts are exceptional, as is served when you want, pm or later, nothing seems too much trouble, and that's the way it all the time. You can eat lunch outdoors in the pool twelve feet high, have a picnic for the beach, and of course all the beach shacks where you can eat a good meal for very little
The beach is within walking distance of fifteen minutes, and is also part of two Vivenda Palhaços charm because you have the opportunity to see village life. After the sterile atmosphere of a grand hotel that was much more exotic and adds to the romantic honeymoon getaway that feels surrounded by the sights and sounds of Goa. Every day you hear the dogs bark, the cocks crow, bells ringing, the neighbors talk in tongues, and trains passing in the night. It is not just the sounds and sights is also the smell of wood burning, incense, cooking food, which confirms Goa is exotic and wonderful when you stay in the XXI century, and the hordes of tourists.
There are a variety of activities from the flea market in Anjuna, fishing, boat expeditions, bicycling, riding elephants to name a few.
Two Vivenda Palhaços is a great boutique hotel, ideal for a romantic exotic honeymoon, providing you like people, and do not mind the sights and sounds and smells of life in Majorda Goa.
