You're getting married …?
We live in Philadelphia and we would go from small honeymoon not far from Philadelphia. Do not drive yet and are getting married May 2008. We intend to go to Disney World July 2008, but we wanted something small to do right after the wedding. Any better places around We can visit and find something to do. They said the Poconos, New York, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Virginia, Maryland, etc. if they know of these places please let me know if There is something we have to do and there is a link to be helpful. Thank you.
Someone mentioned the Outer Banks, and I agree. It is only one unit of 6 hours and is very cheap compared to the Jersey Shore. Not even close airport (90 minutes to Richmond, Virginia) in terms of being close, but there are plenty of hotels along the coast and along the way, including the Sugar Hill Inn in Mays Landing. Driving But what about something small in CA (you can take the train)? After the wedding of a friend some years ago, we went straight to the AC after receiving and had a blast. I'm sure you could probably find a place ready to get a discount honeymoon too. You can also take the train to New York City, but I'm not much up there. I also believe that there are plenty of B & B in Delaware, too. I think you can do this without a car, but try to head to Cape May and hops on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. Is as a 90 minute journey to the land they believe in Lewes, Delaware, which is only 5 km cycle path from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. This place has flown recently, and it is beautiful there.
