How long we stay in each place in Italy on our honeymoon?

We are there for three weeks from April 8-1 May. We flying at the airport in Milan. We like going by train to Venice and then Florence, then Rome and then spend the last week probably little a little along the coast back to Milan to fly home. I know it's a way to busy to do it, but we would like to see some of Italy and is unlikely to be back soon. I'm trying to figure out how long to stay in each place. We are also trying to keep the budget for housing low so we can eat well and pay treated like opera for example :-) Anyone suggestions? Thanks!

In my opinion, a good time for each location is: 2 days for the Milan 3-4 days in Venice (from Milan to Venice will be a brief visit in Verona and Padova) On the way from Venice to Florence, I suggest a half day in Ferrara: Not typical tourist destination, but is really lovely and relaxing in the city. 5-6 days for Florence and Tuscany (to stay in Florence, Florence and beyond to make trips to Pisa and Siena, and if you want other small cities like Lucca and San Gimignano) 5-6 days in Rome If you do, you do not really need to go to the coast (which would have to do in Rome, Genoa-Milan). On this trip the most beautiful thing to see is Pisa, and can be reached in a day trip during your stay in Florence. And April is too cold to go to the beach. Instead it could take a low-cost flight Rome-Milan (Ryanair is based Ciampino and Orio al Serio, Easyjet Fiumicino-Malpensa). There are several flights a day if booked in advance you can get very low prices, and lose no time (you need only an hour to return to Milan). The train from Rome to Milan is much more expensive. For transfers short (Milan-Venice, Florence, Pisa, Florence, Siena, Florence-Rome), regional trains are comfortable and cheap. It Otherwise, unfortunately, the trains in Italy are becoming increasingly expensive, especially Eurostar and AV. If you want to eat well and cheaply, the best way is a pizzeria. Generally, you can order a pizza (or pasta course), a drink and some entries of 10-15 euros each.
