There are many vacation rentals on Florida's fabulous beaches to choose from in all areas around Florida from the Panhandle, north to the tip of the Keys Key West Florida. I hope this article helps in your choice of where to stay while in Florida, but also the beaches to visit.

The Atlantic Coast or Gold Coast tends to be popular for surfing and other beach sports. In the North located in some beautiful areas often with additional great historical interest are San Augustine, Amelia Island, Jacksonville Beach, Palm Coast.

Vacation rentals in Central Atlantic Coast beach are high in number and many are very close of some magnificent beaches. Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores, Edgewater, Fort Pierce, Hutchinson Island, Melbourne Beach, Melbourne, Merritt Island, New Smyrna Beach, Ormond Beach, Ponce Inlet, Port St Lucie, South Hutchinson Island and Titusville, to name a few.

The mega-rich drop Palm Beach is located on the south side of the Atlantic Coast Other popular beaches in this area include Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and Sunny Isles Beach, going down to Miami and fame Miami Beach.

The section of the Florida Keys, 160 miles south of Miami and is often described as Jewels of Florida due to the sparks created by the proximity effect of sea on both sides. There are about 800 islands in the Keys, 42 of which are linked by bridges. Within the Upper Keys and Lower Keys are an abundance of water sports and activities.

Gulf Coast vacation rentals on the beach in Florida are very popular with the "snowbirds" from colder parts of North America and Canada and is often reserved for longer periods in the first half of the year. This is because the Gulf Coast is often warmer and benefits warmer waters of the Gulf. An excellent choice of location to escape the worst of the cold snow filled months in the North. The most popular areas are: Marco Island, Naples, Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, Clearwater, Hudson, Indian Rocks Beach, Sarasota, Madeira Beach, New Port Richey, Orlando, Sarasota, Springhill, Venice and Tampa. With 26 miles of white sandy beach stretching from Clearwater to St. Petes, 3 beaches in the classification in the 10 U.S. and 12 all are award winning Blue Flag beaches. No other area of Florida has many award winning beaches.

Caladesi Island was ranked No. 1 Playa de las Americas in May 2008, located just north of Clearwater. A cover of mangrove kayak trail winds from the port to the sound of San Jose and back. Kayaks are available for rent through the Caladesi Cafe. The trail is a great place to find Osprey or paths cross with a land turtle. Remember to bring water and sunscreen!

Caladesi Island is accessible only by private boat or via the Caladesi Connection ferry service. Cost for the ferry is a few dollars per person. Ferry Passengers are assigned a four-hour stay on the island. No pets allowed on the ferry. The ferry to Caladesi leaves from Honeymoon Island State Park hours beginning at 10 AM.

Other two beaches of Florida in the list, third-ranked Siesta Beach near Sarasota and ninth-ranked Cape Florida State Park in Key Biscayne, near Miami.

From the beach Siesta Key public beach is the widest in the area. It is also the most popular. Famous for its white sand, the amenities include lifeguards, concessions, tables for picnics and barbecues, restrooms and showers. volleyball courts, tennis courts and a playground shaded by Australian pines are an added advantage. Parking is free. Make sure you get there before noon on weekends because it is busy.

The Florida Keys are known for their long stretches of beaches sand like the rest of Florida. The beaches of sand cays and still great, just smaller, and often by men. Two of the best are;

1. At mile 37, the Bahia Honda State Recreation Area has both sandy beaches and deep waters near the coast. They provide exceptional swimming and diving opportunities.

2. 73 Mile Beach in Anne is dedicated to the famous local environmentalist Anne Eaton. It provides a shallow swimming area, and although situated in the Atlantic Ocean has almost no wave action.

Many owners of Florida vacation Beach rentals have beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers, etc. for its guests. Alternatively these can be rented very cheaply on the beach to themselves. In the Florida over the facilities of the beaches are generally very well maintained. with most of the beaches with baths, showers and changing rooms, etc. at least barbecue.
