A romantic comedy often overlooked by fans of cinema is Honeymoon in Vegas, "a cheerful, feel-good movie about two lovers overwhelmed by the temptations of Las Vegas. A relatively early film career of Nicholas Cage and Sarah Jessica Parker, Honeymoon in Vegas should have been the first indicators to audiences everywhere that the two would become pillars of Hollywood. Along with the famous industry veteran James Caan (who plays a surprisingly similar in this television show Las Vegas), the three combine to create an interesting, although not very funny story that adds a new twist to the traditional conflict the love triangle.

Jack Singer (Nicholas Cage) is forever haunted by a deathbed promise to his mother, giving his word he would never marry. But the promise threatens to end his relationship with his long time girlfriend and true love Betsy (Sarah Jessica Parker). So Jack proposes and the couple decide the race to Las Vegas and get married. However, his trip to Las Vegas soon interrupted when Jack is installed in a poker game by professional player Tommy Korman (James Caan).

With one hand of poker, Jack loses $ 65,000 to Korman who promises to forgive debt in exchange for a single weekend with his girlfriend Betsy. Initially, his indignation at the configuration, Jack sees the proposed solution as a way out of debt, so it convinces Betsy to go along with the idea. But Jack soon becomes horribly jealous and changes of his mind. When he goes to find Betsy, forced to fight against Korman and his minions have managed to keep Jack away permanently. Now, Jack must arrive Betsy what you can and tell him how much he loves her before Korman convinces her she's marrying the wrong man, and that the right man is none other than Korman himself.

One of the best performances of James Caan, the character of Tommy Korman comes off as something nice type although the role of antagonist to our hero. The best characters are those are multi-dimensional, and the director creates a great atmosphere that allows cast members to represent different emotions of his characters. Together, these diverse characters interact in exciting and interesting ways, which makes Honeymoon in a fun and funny movie.

With a number of Hollywood icons, Honeymoon in Vegas is a character-based romantic comedy capable of holding its own with any other film of its kind. Although he never experienced the widespread commercial success of some of his contemporaries, the film nevertheless maintains a high level of entertainment value. If you have not seen Honeymoon in Vegas, then I recommend it. Worth time. Because of its exotic locations and a very well written screenplay, Honeymoon in Vegas is a definite need to see the film.
